When you talk about a heavy duty air compressor, you usually refer to an air compressor that is big, stationary and gas-powered. However, this is not always the case. In fact, there is such a thing as a 12v heavy duty air compressor.

12-volt heavy duty air compressors work similarly to other air compressors but they are mainly used for filling up tires and inflating other equipment.
